Because We're in Chicago, After All

Closed Captioning strikes again. This morning I almost fell off the treadmill laughing when I read the following "translation" of a local news report:

"Authorities say that the car reportedly popped a tire, rolled over the side of the road, and landed in a deep dish."

ROFL! I hate those stupid closed caption things when they cannot keep up or make the most bizarre typos or word choices...but the 'za looks yummy!

Wow, that's some big pizza.

These posts about close-captioning had me laughing out loud, too.

What road was this on? Can I drive there soon, or is the road closed while they repair the sausages?

Yeah, seriously. I think I may need to remove that pizza photo because every time I see it I crave it! Which would not be at all good for this fitness kick.

Come on, who types those things? Great blog fodder, though.

Oh Giordanos and Carmen's and
Gino's East, how I miss you!

It's a good thing I moved away before becoming a low-carber.
